Your password, never seen by us
Sign-in is handled entirely by Supabase's authentication system - MyCloseCompanion never touches or stores your raw password.
Encrypted at rest
Calendar connection tokens, chat history, and document summaries are encrypted in the database before they're ever stored.
You control calendar & document access
Google and Microsoft access is granted through their own secure sign-in, scoped to only what each feature needs - revoke it anytime from Settings.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection to MyCloseCompanion is HTTPS-only, end to end, with strict browser security policies blocking malicious script injection.
Every request re-verified
Each action is checked against your live, current session with the identity provider - not a static, long-lived token.

Do I need to pay to use it?
No - the Free plan covers chat, one calendar, single-document questions, and a basic to-do list. Paid plans add rescheduling, multiple calendars, and the full daily accountability rhythm.
Is my data safe?
Yes - your password is never seen by us, calendar tokens and document summaries are encrypted at rest, and every connection is HTTPS-only. See the Security section above for the full list.
What if I only use Google, or only Outlook?
That's fine - connect just one, or both. You can even link more than one account of the same provider on paid plans.
Can I customize the AI's name and language?
Yes - give your companion any name you like, and choose English or French for how it responds.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes, no lock-in - change your plan anytime from Settings.
Can I use it with my team?
Yes - create an organization (available on the Pro plan) to share a document workspace with your team. Invite members by email; everyone can ask questions about the shared files, while only the organization's owner manages members, the shared folder, and the plan.
